Privacy Policy for Job Pay Guard
Job Pay Guard helps contractors and trades organize jobs, receivables, evidence, reminders, and payment-rights workflow.
What this means in practice
Information you provide
Job Pay Guard may process information you enter or import into the app, including job and customer details, project addresses, contract or purchase-order information, invoices, payments, change orders, collection notes, promised-payment information, reminders, evidence metadata, photos, scans, documents, and business-profile information.
Local-first storage
Job Pay Guard stores business records locally on your device first. Evidence files are stored in the app's private storage unless you choose to export, share, or synchronize them.
iCloud and CloudKit
Solo Pro can synchronize private workspace records through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services when you enable iCloud sync. Data stored through Apple services is also subject to Apple's applicable privacy terms and account controls.
Purchases and subscriptions
Optional Solo Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple processes payment information. Job Pay Guard uses StoreKit purchase and entitlement information provided by Apple to determine access to paid features. Job Pay Guard does not receive your payment-card number.
Camera, photos, files, and device authentication
Camera, photo-library, file, notification, and device-owner authentication permissions are used only when needed for features you choose, such as scanning evidence, importing files, receiving reminders, or enabling the optional app lock. Job Pay Guard does not receive biometric data.
Exports and sharing
You may choose to export receivables as CSV, generate PDF job packets, export structured data snapshots, or share evidence and other files using iOS sharing controls. You choose the destination for those exports.
Advertising and tracking
Job Pay Guard version 1.0 contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking SDK. Job Pay Guard does not sell personal information.
Data deletion
You can erase local business data from within Job Pay Guard Settings. Deleting local data or deleting the app does not automatically delete records already synchronized to iCloud. iCloud data remains subject to your Apple account and sharing controls.
Reviewed payment-rights information
Job Pay Guard may use project facts you enter to generate source-linked operational reminders for supported reviewed rules. Job Pay Guard is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Important legal deadlines should be independently verified.
Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information handled by Job Pay Guard. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
Job Pay Guard is designed as a business productivity tool for contractors and trades and is not directed specifically to children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Job Pay Guard changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
