Privacy Policy for LeaveClaim Ledger
Effective September 27, 2026. LeaveClaim Ledger is designed as a local-first claim-recordkeeping app.
What this means in practice
Data collection
LeaveClaim Ledger does not operate a developer account system, advertising system, analytics service, or developer-hosted claim database for Version 1. Claim records are stored locally on your device unless you deliberately export or share them.
Information you enter
You may choose to enter names, employer or administrator names, claim numbers, program status, dates, expected or received payment amounts, deadlines, communications, absence hours, notes, and supporting documents. The app does not require Social Security numbers, bank credentials, insurer passwords, or employer passwords.
Files and evidence
If you choose to import evidence, iOS gives the app access to the file you select. The imported copy is saved inside the app's local storage and the app records a SHA-256 fingerprint for that copy.
Device security
If you enable App Lock, LeaveClaim Ledger asks iOS to authenticate you with Face ID or your device passcode. The app does not receive or store biometric templates.
Notifications
If you choose deadline reminders, LeaveClaim Ledger schedules local notifications on your device. Reminder scheduling does not require a developer server.
Purchases
LeaveClaim Pro is purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes billing. The app reads Apple-provided entitlement information to determine whether Pro is unlocked; LeaveClaim Ledger does not receive your full payment-card details.
Exports and backups
Claim packets and backups are generated on your device. Once you use the iOS share sheet or save a file to another service or location, that destination's privacy practices apply.
Apple device backups
Depending on your device and Apple backup settings, app data may be included in an iCloud or computer backup managed by Apple and controlled through your device settings.
Data deletion
LeaveClaim Ledger includes an in-app option to erase local app records. Deleting the app also removes its local app container, subject to separate device backups or files you previously exported.
Tracking and advertising
LeaveClaim Ledger does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
