What Payee Ledger does
Payee Ledger is an independent recordkeeping tool for individual and family representative payees. It helps you record benefits received and expenses, attach supporting documents, reconcile records to a bank statement, and export records for your own files.
Receipts and supporting documents
You can scan or attach receipts, bills, statements, and other documents to ledger entries. These documents remain part of the app's local records unless you deliberately export or share them using iOS.
Backups
Use the in-app backup feature before changing devices, deleting the app, or making major record changes. Keep exported backups in a location you control. Restoring a backup replaces the app's current local records after confirmation.
Payee Ledger Pro
Optional Pro features are unlocked through an Apple non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple processes the purchase. If a prior purchase is not recognized, use Restore Purchases inside the app.
Security
Payee Ledger can use Face ID or your device passcode to protect access when App Lock is enabled. The app does not ask for Social Security numbers or online-banking credentials.
Important limitation
Payee Ledger does not determine whether an expenditure is permitted, calculate benefit eligibility, submit reports to the Social Security Administration, or provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Follow current SSA instructions and contact SSA or a qualified professional when needed.
